BRUMA

A concert intertwining performance with environmental themes.

BRUMA is a performative concert with environmental themes, designed for plants and post-humans. It features an improvised blend of dance, music and visuals, with a dancer and performer engaging with varied micro-spaces and elements.
BRUMA explores the impact of the technosphere on the biosphere, delving into the magnitude of the changes we’ve inflicted on the Earth. These changes are irreversible. We must learn to live in a new environment, and we cannot do so without the support of technological advancements. BRUMA seeks to prepare us for this change, blowing on our wounds as a parent would. While this gesture alone won’t heal us, it offers a momentary sense of relief.

Kònic Thtr is as an artistic platform dedicated to contemporary creation at the intersection of art and new technologies. Its activity revolves around harnessing interactive technology for artistic endeavours. With over three decades of experience applying new technologies and multimedia resources to installations, dance and theatre, Kònic Thtr has cultivated a distinctive and personal language within the realm of contemporary creation.
Kòniclab acts as the framework for the development of research and artistic experimentation related to technology, showcasing its applications in interactive stage projects and audiovisual installations. Rosa Sánchez and Alain Baumann spearhead the conceptual, creative and technological dimensions of Kònic.
