At the previous Sismògraf festival edition, the Encontre a l’Astacifactoria took place.
One year has passed – can a moment be relived?
Or can a moment be faithfully reconstructed?
With the same festival organiser as last year, it seems appropriate to have the same audience as well.
Fina Torres and Job Ramos will strive to wear the same clothes.
The Encounter at Astacifactoria does not follow a script or predefined schedule. It’s a collaborative game of observation. With a limited format (four people per session), participants gain access to the activities at the Astacifactoria of Molí de les Fonts. As Fina Torres (one of the centre’s coordinators) works and carries out maintenance tasks, the audience observes her, while Job Ramos enhances the visit with readings, comments, displays of objects or simply by providing companionship.
Job Ramos explores the connections between nature and artificiality. His artistic endeavours span cinema, installation and drawing. He is a visual artist and lecturer at the University of Barcelona’s Faculty of Fine Arts and at the University of Vic’s Faculty of Education, Translation, Sport and Psychology (FETEP). His work has been exhibited on an international scale.
Fina Torres is a wildlife recovery technician. For the last fifteen years she has been in charge of the Molí de les Fonts wildlife recovery centre.
