A lecture-performance blending music, audiovisuals, spoken word and live movement to present urban dances in all their dimensions. Where, when and why did these forms of expression emerge? What defines them? How did they reach our country? What impact have they had on the world of dance and popular culture from the late 20th century to today?

Guille Vidal-Ribas and Àlvar Marcos are urban dance artists with long-standing careers that combine creation, teaching, research and dissemination. Guille Vidal-Ribas won the Performing Arts Critics’ Award for Best Dancer for his performance in this production.
