IMPERFECT

In times of social change, fear and uncertainty about the future, three inexperienced, imperfect bodies with limited mobility decide to reinvent themselves, playing like children and experimenting with dance, an entirely new and unknown language.
Imperfect are three grown-ups pushing their limits and exploring their capabilities, turning their inability to dance into a strength. In a society that determines and dictates what is suitable for every age, can one learn to dance at the age of fifty?
Imperfect is a show that reflects on one’s own limitations and explores the discovery of unconventional beauty and the pursuit of dreams.

Imperfect is a product of the collaboration between La Baldufa and Sol Picó.
The Companyia de Comediants La Baldufa offers shows for all audiences but especially for children. Their work has earned the National Performing Arts Award for Children and Young People 2020. They have performed in some of the most important theatres, venues and festivals in the country.
Sol Picó is a choreographer and dancer. She has developed her highly personal hallmark style with the Sol Picó Compañía de Danza and has received numerous accolades. Such distinctions include the 2016 National Dance Award and several Max Performing Arts Prizes. She has also been awarded the Government of Catalonia’s National Dance Prize (2004) and the Ciutat de Barcelona Prize in the dance category (2014).
